Shaker Sister Hannah Cohoon is considered by many to be the finest Shaker artist. She was inspired to do her "gift" or "spirit" drawings by a higher power. The "Tree of Light" is a drawing she did in 1845. It is similar to her better known "Tree of Life" drawing, but in our opinion is finer. We have engraved Sister Hannah's drawing on our Cherry and Cork Coasters. Sold in sets of four. |
