Over the years our boxes have been chosen as gifts for dignitaries including the former Soviet Union First Lady Raisa Gorbachev and the King and Queen of Denmark. President Ronald Reagan and his wife Nancy presented over 200 guests at a Rose Garden luncheon with our #2 box, comb-grained painted and filled with rose potpourri.
The Mingei Museum selected our Birdseye boxes to be included in the book : "Kindred Spirits: The Eloquence of Function in American Shaker and Japanese Arts of Daily Life" and its traveling museum exhibit comparing Japanese and Shaker design. On a recent trade mission to China, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick took dozens of our Cherry oval boxes, engraved with the Massachusetts State Seal, as good will gifts.
Whether your need is for one box or many, each is made with great care and attention to detail. We enjoy what we do and take pride in our work. You can find our Shaker oval boxes in many museum gift shops and specialty shops around the world.
