We fit our #1 Cherry and Birdseye Maple Boxes with a special bottom and an 18 note movement. To play it, simply turn the recessed key on the bottom of the box. Two tunes are available, "Simple Gifts" and "Old Cape Cod". These have become very popular as gifts, especially for babies. They lend themselves perfectly to custom engraving (see Personalized Gifts). A mother of a Music Box recipient reported to us that her three year old heard it every night at bedtime since receiving it at birth, a comforting bedtime ritual for him that makes bedtime easier.
